Whither art thou, the National Press Club?

Whither art thou, the National Press Club?
I see multiple indictments facing Kevin Rudd in the mismanagement of everything, massive deficits, unworkable policies, illegal immigrants / multiple tragedies, Climate Tax reconfiguration farce, the NBN  white elephant.
And the litany of 6 years of scores of other catastrophes the PM is seemingly allowed to plead nolo – contenderer to by the National Press Club; all under the aegis of a ‘honeymoon’.
I sometimes see great articles – Rudd or Labor never, ever feel the slightest obligation to respond to.
Is that all there is to it guys?
Have you no sense of responsibility?
Have you not noticed that  Rudd never gets a tough question that he cannot run away from?

nolo contendere (no-low kahn-ten-durr-ray) n. Latin for "I will not contest" the charges which is a plea made by a defendant to a criminal charge, allowing the judge to then find him/her guilty, often called a "plea of no contest." (See: no contest)
[Latin, I will not contest it.] A plea in a criminal case by which the defendant answers the charges made in the indictment by declining to dispute or admit the fact of his or her guilt.
The defendant who pleads nolo contendere submits for a udgment fixing a fine or sentence the same as if he or she had pleaded guilty. The difference is that a plea of nolo contendere cannot later be used to prove wrongdoing in a civil suit for monetary damages, but a plea of guilty can. Nolo contendere is especially popular in antitrust actions, such as price-fixing cases, where it is very likely that civil actions for treble damages will be started after the defendant has been successfully prosecuted.

Hello Mr Frey
I had to do the research in the end!
Please explain what you exactly do?
I found all the articles: are you now willing to clarify Ms Plibersek’s multiple claims about what a great deal she got for OZ???
I could not find The Australian’s version – which is where I must have seen it.
Plibesek latest claim was I think on Q & A a couple of months ago? NOT HARD TO FIND!!! Surely you can do this for the sake of the office you ostensively hold!???

Hello Mr Frey

I think you should investigate how many times Tanya Plibersek – our wonderful non -  Patent medicine negotiator has claimed what a wonderful deal she ‘’NEGOTIATED’’ for Australia – when NZ has
plainly managed it all at half – price or whatever compared with OZ!!! TP has claimed this on Q & A – probable link below
Initially I saw an article in The Australian – I STILL HAVE NOT FOUND IT – showing how, like her girlie – friend Julia – she is such a ‘wonderful negotiator’’ Even when ALL the cards were in her / their hand!!!
Sarcasm intended!
SO – I suggest you find the article?
And find her guilty of willful lies? Simply because   she must have known the magnitude of the humbug – which she frequently. guilelessly repeats .
So there is more research to find these repetitions.
So there are a few things for you to do – even if I have given this to you on a proverbial plate.

It was the dumbest of union quotes and the best of parodies - apologies to Dickens.
  1. On any intelligent analysis the headline alone should prove that unionists / extreme leftist ones at least - are stupid: or at least more stupid than anyone has the right to be! I refer to this interesting concept / right  that I have conjoured whereby I postulate that all leftist ideas are at best silly; at worst... well, read on!
  2. Look with care at his pathetic euphemising the greatest fraud made by governmetal Ministers in history: ''...of a federal take-over of the NSW branch of the party to address cultural and structural problems.
  3. THERE! THE CROOKS COULD NOT BE BLAMED BECAUSE IT IS IMBEDDED IN THEIR CULTURE! AND THEIR STRUCTURE - whatever that means! This will be Craig Thompson's defence - I am told. But Craig only ripped off hundreds of thousands - not hundreds of millions of Dollars!
  4. Look at the end quote: they now BELATEDLY seemingly have have powers to expell corrupt officials! Wow! this is yet another example proving  that unionists were not and probably broadly are not are not bound by common law! ASTONISHING!!
  5. How about a ''Labor ombudsman'' - I guess someone who has insight into the arcane rules by which unionists can still break the law!!? They need a ''LABOR OMBUDSMAN'' - with implications too absurd - to bring repute to union morality?
  6. TO ENSURE THAT THE CRAIG THOMPSON AND EDDIE OBEID DISASTERS CAN BE BETTER HIDDEN - DEFACTO 'LEGALLY'?
  7. Let me see if I get this right: look at #4 #5 #6 above: jusdt what do they think they need an ombudsman / person for? SO THEY KNOW WHERE TO DRAW THE LINE BETWEEN CRAVEN SELF INTEREST - INIMICAL WITH THOSE OF THEIR MEMBERS' INTERESTS - AND PLAIN FRAUD??? Is that why they need an Ombudsperson for?
  8. Even these pathetic formulas of legality have to be ''imposed'' on them by Rudd! And why is Rudd doing it now? Because he is in election mode!
  9. What a pathetic lot of imbeciles - if any of the above is unreasonable - someone will sue me, right?
  10. Wrong! They cannot. But I challenge these people to do their worst.
Congrats to the Journalist Joe Kelly! For plainly understanding matters union.

ACTU warns against reform as a proxy for curbing union links
THE ACTU has hit back at a new push by senior Labor figures to weaken union influence, warning party reform must not be used as a weapon to beat up on the union movement.
ACTU secretary Dave Oliver told The Weekend Australian that reforms to modernise the party were "a good thing" following Kevin Rudd's announcement of a federal take-over of the NSW branch of the party to address cultural and structural problems.
However, Mr Oliver warned against using party reform as an excuse to attack the union movement or downplay its relevance in the 21st century.
"Some people in the Labor Party are using the process of party reform to have a go at the role of unions," Mr Oliver said.
"The truth is, unions speak for the interests of around 60 per cent of the Australian workforce.
"Unions have faced up to the challenge of modernising to remain relevant, to grow and to represent the interests of working people." The ACTU cited figures showing that almost four million Australians were on collective agreements, 1.5 million were on the award or the minimum wage and two million were paying union fees.
Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association national secretary Joe de Bruyn said yesterday he would not support any move to reduce union representation at state conferences from its present level of 50 per cent. He said that trade unions spoke for numbers that were far in excess of the total Labor Party membership.
"The union representation in the Labor Party is . . . a fundamental part of the whole structure of the Labor Party and it ensures that it is going to represent the views of working people who are its primary electoral base," he said.
Chris Bowen backed the Prime Minister's initiative, saying it was a good and necessary change.
"The Prime Minister made it clear that this is something that's important to him and this will be an ongoing process. I've previously laid out some ideas on reform of the Labor Party. That's not my focus this week, my focus is my role as Treasurer. But I want a Labor Party which is modern, inclusive and large," the Treasurer said.
During the week Mr Rudd promised "zero-tolerance of corruption" and outlined changes to be imposed on the NSW branch.
The changes included new powers for the branch to expel corrupt members; a ban on property developers becoming Labor candidates; an independent review tribunal to resolve party disputes; the right for members to appeal against decisions to the courts; and the appointment of a Labor ombudsman to hear complaints.

Originally the term was used in surfer culture for tricks on the waves causing a surfer to fall. The term was coyly taken by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth for his cartoon character Rat Fink, who had the letters "R.F." on his chest. Those in the know would realize that the name really meant this term.

It was resurrected by the "USC Mafia" in school elections before they joined the Nixon administration and perfected the practice; it means to utilize dirty tactics (i.e. stealing ballots, changing the time of events with organizers, etc.) in political campaigns to win at any cost. This practice eventually led to the Watergate scandal and Nixon's resignation.

Carl Rove is a true rat-fucker.
One staffer really rat-fucked a guy, he wrote a false and racist memo allegedly from a Democratic candidate in Florida. He fuckin' lost!

THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES

THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES
Kevin Rudd regards Climate Change as the ‘’great moral challenge of our times.’’
  • That is why no care, diligence or even the basest elements of professionalism was considered re the Pink Batts tragedies.
  • That is why no contemplation of even the inevitable consequences was deemed important by the true believers of THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES.
Rudd is considering pathetically, belatedly changes to the so – called Carbon Tax and other of his many extreme – leftist policies only in the context of the incipient elections.
Even a cursory reading of the Coroner’s Report into 4 deaths will surely make one wonder as to the nether – world could not care less attitude of this government.
What do people think Rudd will do if he gets re elected?
What can possibly supplant THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES?
Why they have even managed to waste big moneys on research into THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES!
No wonder scientists are humiliating themselves! And looking for funding....
Pathetically too many are into the THE GREAT IMMORAL CHALLENGE OF OUR TIMES!

 FOOTNOTE!

  1. Consider that Rudd, Gillard and Labor socialists have a policy of constantly increasing the Carbon Tax in order to somehow mitigate a problem in their imaginations.
  2. This of course is predicated on the imbecilic idea that you can force green inventions by taxing the competition into oblivion! THEY ARE MAD FOR THIS ALONE!!
  3. It will annoy them to temporarily make this - the incipient new carbon price @$6 or so -  into  into a farce - via said dramatic reduction from $25 and thus dramatically match the European price....$6!
  4.  The farcical element is that the token European price has risen by a WHOLE DOLLAR  to $6 - in recent weeks simply  because they see Australia coming - ie realize that for a few weeks there may be actual buyers for their hot air / permits.
  5. Indeed the entire EU price is a scam - and it's contrived existence retains a semblance of credibility only because Australians are / were / always the only real customers - potential or otherwise!
  6.  What lunacy! See my many other entries on my blogs on CARBON TRADING HOT AIR  LUFT GESCHEFT... and more. Put my name in front of it - and LO - google will find my works!

COMPLAINT NO 1 RE LEAGUE OF RIGHTS TO THE OZ
Editor In Chief Chris Mitchell
Rupert Murdoch New York – via S Kinzie
Dear Chris Mitchell et al
You have now TWICE published obscenities from the representative of the nearly defunct League Of Rights.
You studiously refuse to publish anything from my person – why? Because I have the courage to JUSTIFIABLY complain to outside sources about the intermittently poor behaviour of your editors?
Is that all there is to your editorialship – ignore criticism?
Can I not expect better from Rupert Murdoch’s flagship?
Yours Sincerely

Freedom of speech is a responsibility – not a unilateral right to spout forth holocaust – denying obscenities!
  • Once again – I ask: why do you publish holocaust deniers with the ultimate obscenity and offence for survivors of the greatest mass – murder in history?
  • Is there no standard of morality that is not broachable in the name of controversy? Say, are we to see Nigel Jackson Letters Toben’s image 1/7 espousing the idea that not enough of my brethren were murdered by the Nazis? Do you contemplate drawing the line there?

Perhaps Michael Spence the vice Chancellor of Sydney University can explain his declaring the BDS against the only democracy in the Middle East as ‘’inappropriate’’ – yet take no action against his in – house progenitors of same -  Jake Lynch and Stuart Rees.
Speak up and take courageous action, Vice Chancellor.
I am amazed that it takes mere membership of the nearly defunct League of Rights for inappropriate letters to be published. Why do you give Nigel Jackson oxygen to promulgate Holocaust denial in defending the egregious discredited Tobin?
