worse

Think it through: Julia’s spin doctors create the worst / best unintended parody -  mockery of the PM in recent political history,

They proudly invite the media.

Then her Communications Director congratulates himself via the unforgettable words: "It was a no-brainer,"

It must be shattering to the few  remaining true – believers appreciating how many layers of astonishing ineptitude are involved? I count at least four.

Her spin doctors agree: the request to be photographed purling and knitting came from her office.
"It was a no-brainer," communications director John McTernan said of the decision.

Courage, Vice Chancellor Spence
Perhaps Michael Spence the vice Chancellor of Sydney University can explain his declaring the BDS against the only democracy in the Middle East as ‘’inappropriate’’ – yet take no action against his in – house progenitors of same -  Jake Lynch and Stuart Rees.
Speak up and take courageous action, Vice Chancellor.
I am amazed that it takes mere membership of the nearly defunct League of Rights for inappropriate letters to be published. Why do you give Nigel Jackson oxygen to promulgate Holocaust denial in defending the egregious discredited Tobin?

How evil Greens, Academics BDS valley

How evil Greens, Academics BDS  valley
We are living in dangerous times: The Greens invite Holocaust Denier Tobin to support their defacto illegal BDS against Israel.
Then rapidly back down when the opprobrium decimates them: the public are plainly not supporting Holocaust denial!
Yet a so – called self – described ‘’Jewish Green’’ – former Communications Director Tim Hollow plainly supports the BDS in his mealy – mouthed denouncement quoted in The Australian 21/6:
‘’Mr Hollow condemned Mr Riboldi's conduct: "As a proud Jewish Green, I have spent years convincing people it is wrong and offensive to conflate criticising Israel's government and armed forces with anti-Semitism. In this context, David Shoebridge's staffer's approach to Fredrick Toben is an inexcusable error that is completely out of step with Greens policies, values and action.’’
The key to Hollow’s raison d’etre is the favoured phrase of Israel bashers – it all comes under the convenient aegis of ‘criticism of Israel’ and associated confected codswallop.
This is the way of our enemies – Jewish and otherwise.
Their ‘criticism’ is always antithetical to mere reasonableness or historic accuracy; that is the way they are!
Oh – and arch BDS entity Lee Rhiannon ‘’declined to comment.’’
On 15/5 Professor S Rees of Sydney University thought the signing by more than 40 Parliamentarians of The London Declaration against anti semitism was ‘’childish, thoughtless but easily populist.’’
Throughout it all we have the Vice Chancellor  Spence seemingly vitiating the boycott – yet allowing it to be promoted at his University!

21/6 Split in Greens over Holocaust denier Fredrick Toben

Split in Greens over Holocaust denier Fredrick Toben
SPLITS have emerged in the Greens after leader Christine Milne refused to rebuke NSW MP David Shoebridge for his contact with Holocaust denier Fredrick Toben.
The Australian revealed yesterday Mr Shoebridge invited Dr Toben, who has served prison time in Australia and Germany for his Holocaust denial and anti-Semitic activities -- to a fundraising event for Gaza in April.
Mr Shoebridge said the invitation was rescinded when he became aware of Dr Toben's extreme views. Senator Milne yesterday attacked Dr Toben's views but offered no condemnation of Mr Shoebridge, placing her at odds with the Greens' lead Senate candidate in NSW, Cate Faehrmann, and her former communications director, Tim Hollo.
"The Australian Greens totally reject and condemn anti-Semitism . . . It is abhorrent. We condemn unreservedly Holocaust denials. It has no place anywhere in Australia society," Senator Milne said. "The horrendous consequences of the Holocaust are still being felt around the world and I am appalled that people like Dr Toben engage in fabrication of history and . . . spread and engage in anti-Semitism."
But she stopped short of condemning Mr Shoebridge.
The invitation was sent to Dr Toben after an email exchange with Shoebridge staffer Mark Riboldi, who sent a link to a March 25 debate in the NSW Legislative Council on a study trip to Israel that was hijacked by pro-Palestinian MPs. In the exchange Mr Riboldi agreed he would "definitely not" be bending to Jewish pressure.
Mr Hollo condemned Mr Riboldi's conduct: "As a proud Jewish Green, I have spent years convincing people it is wrong and offensive to conflate criticising Israel's government and armed forces with anti-Semitism. In this context, David Shoebridge's staffer's approach to Fredrick Toben is an inexcusable error that is completely out of step with Greens policies, values and action.
\"He should not be allowed to tarnish the great work done by the rest of the party." Ms Faehrmann apologised for the incident. "At the very least, it was appropriate that the invitation was rescinded, however Mr Toben should never have been invited in the first place. I apologise to the Jewish community unreservedly for any hurt and upset this error of judgment may have caused," she said.
Executive Council of Australian Jewy executive director Peter Wertheim said Mr Shoebridge was avoiding the real issue.
"This is not about the revocation of an invitation," he said. "It's about why those who claim to be supporting Palestinian rights consistently attract the enthusiastic support of people with an explicitly racist anti-Jewish agenda."
NSW Greens senator Lee Rhiannon, who has formerly backed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, declined to comment.

Well may the Sydney University vice chancellor’s spokeswoman insist that ‘’ the University of Sydney  is opposed to the BDS.’’
It matters not: they allow the boycott to be warehoused in their Peace and Conflict Studies department through Professors Lynch and Rees.
Whose intelligence are they insulting in the name of Michael Spence – the vice chancellor who is plainly having it both ways.

A spokeswoman for vice-chancellor Michael Spence repeated the Sydney University's opposition to BDS. "The University of Sydney does not consider the boycott, divestment and sanctions policy appropriate and it is not University of Sydney policy."
The spokeswoman refused to say whether the university would indemnify centre staff or assist them in any other way with legal or financial support if action were launched.

          Dear Sir / Madame

I refer to the 7 30 report of the Janet Albrechsten / Mia Freedman / Leigh Sales interview last night: it was apparently during this 3 – way conversation that the news discrediting the multiple claims re ‘MENU scam’ of the belaboured Labor government was disclosed.
A bit of a scoop perhaps  – and Leigh Sales handled it professionally as did the other two ladies.
It is noteworthy that whilst JA and MF hold different political views – they both lacerated the Gillard government.
However the news was in it’s infancy – one could not expect analysis.

However – there is no merit for Emma A of Lateline!
It was a disgrace how Emma dearest allowed Minister for Girlie – Events to get away with pure humbug!
I still find it difficult to believe what T Plibersek said in defiance of reality:
‘’THERE WERE NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE AT THE LIBERAL FUNDRAISING EVEN /  ANYWAY’’ ??
The transcript is not yet available – but the detail will be worse for your acolytes at the House of Gillard / Emmerson et al!
Instead of investigating matters material in front of her EA ignored it all! She had plenty of time....yet the intro was a ponderous, irresponsible rehashing of what she had prima – facie evidence was simply too absurd!

HERE IS THE LINE COMMON SENSE ELICITS FROM ME:
How is it possible for them to even THINK that Abbott and others were involved in this idiocy?
And if they were – knowing that they would be easily held to account – why are you guys so besotted with this government’s multiple idiocies delivered daily in so many ways – that merely on the greatest scale of certainties [to coin a new phrase] it HAD TO BE A SCAM!!!
Certainly worth being sceptical about it, non?
          But NO!
The transcript will be yet another humiliation to EA’s interview style the deliberate [??] deficiencies when it comes to defending the abysmal!
I just do not have time for now to detail her / ABC’s soft tactics on that anti coal lunatic a few short weeks ago.
Do you people not care that you will in a few short weeks will have nowhere to hide?
I have an expectation that you will have to change your dismal procedures – your very modus vivendi!

No more for now – I simply expect a decent answer that you can take cap in hand to those enquiring into the ABC soon.

          A Smuggler's Song

IF you wake at midnight, and hear a horse's feet,
Don't go drawing back the blind, or looking in the street,
Them that ask no questions isn't told a lie.
Watch the wall my darling while the Gentlemen go by.

Laces for a lady; letters for a spy,
Watch the wall my darling while the Gentlemen go by!

Running round the woodlump if you chance to find
Little barrels, roped and tarred, all full of brandy-wine,
Don't you shout to come and look, nor use 'em for your play.
Put the brishwood back again - and they'll be gone next day !

          If you see the stable-door setting open wide;
          If you see a tired horse lying down inside;
          If your mother mends a coat cut about and tore;
If the lining's wet and warm - don't you ask no more !

If you meet King George's men, dressed in blue and red,
You be careful what you say, and mindful what is said.
If they call you " pretty maid," and chuck you 'neath the chin,
Don't you tell where no one is, nor yet where no one's been !

Knocks and footsteps round the house - whistles after dark -
You've no call for running out till the house-dogs bark.
Trusty's here, and Pincher's here, and see how dumb they lie
They don't fret to follow when the Gentlemen go by !

          Publication

This story was first published in the Strand Magazine of August 1906, and McClure's Magazine for the same month. It was collected in Puck of Pook's Hill in 1906 and in numerous subsequent editions of that collection. It was accompanied by the poems "Prophets at Home" and "Smugglers' Song" .

          The story

Dan and Una meet Sir Harry Dawe, one of the great architects and craftsmen of the early 16th century, who had been born and brought up in their valley. He tells the story of how he was given the job of restoring their local village church, St Barnabas'. He found the Sussex villagers strangely unhelpful. His friend Sebastian Cabot, was planning a voyage across the Atlantic; he had ordered guns for his ship from a local forge, and he too was finding it a frustrating experience, since there were constant delays, and implausible excuses for broken promises.

Then they find that the local ironmasters are making guns secretly for Sir Andrew Barton, a pirate who sailed off the Sussex coast, and hiding them in the church before delivery. On the advice of a wise old local magistrate, Hal and Sebastian come down with soldiers and take the guns on the bland assumption that they are destined for Sebastian's ship. They take no legal action, which saves the necks of the conspirators, and Hal gets every help from the villagers thereafter.

: Hello Jon Faine ...re asbestos NBN and ZETA NUMBERS

          Sent: Tuesday, June 04, 2013 11:53 AM
Subject: Hello Jon Faine ...re asbestos NBN and ZETA NUMBERS

          Jon Faine
          Radio Host 774
          Greetings, Jon
          and ABC HQTRS

It ain’t easy being on the left, is it?
I listened how you were given an asbestos / NBN  lesson between 8 30 am and 9 35 am this morning.
At least you admitted you have a lot to learn.
The trouble is that Conroy and his cronys have done everything to hide everything re NBN white elephant – which has now become yet another lethal instrument in the hands of those who managed so far to kill only 4 people re their green / luvvy / insulation disaster. Never mind that he does not understand what a ‘CBA’ is – see google highlighted below.
You see John – it is all a moot point that Conroy simply does not understand that it has to include the Potential costs of not doing the project!!!
Seeing that he is / was / will remain being generations behind – seeing that he refuses to allow the various departments at his disposal to rationally cost any policy.
Preferring consultants – ‘experts’ Julia is very good at running up costs like this – and usually ignoring the result! Sigh.
But I digress. It is so easy to digress when this miserable Labor mob has reached the stage that even the true believers have given up. They have less than 40% of the mean IQ – in support – which because of the nature of mean  IQ  relationship to the mean population – Julia can surely only go up from here. Oops -  I digressed again. Cannot help myself – we live in interesting times. To quote a now reconfigured Australian curse.

... the abyss. by: Phillip Adams; From: The Australian; June 04, 2013 12:00AM ... (It's surprising he didn't call publicly for her resignation on his way out the door.) ...
Indeed – I commend you: the very first thing you said this morning was in contemplating how one can check the veracity of asbestos fibres removal and the safety restored in situ.
With Conroy in charge – he the one who is not bound by cost – benefit analysis
But getting back to my main theme.
Your ABC has multiple ways of demonstrating their bias.
Indeed this email will be the start of my didactic list of how the programme managers manage to get away with it. Please appreciate that this is merely the start: today I have thought of only two – and I have restricted this list to merely unusual / not widely understood / appreciated scams.
          1. INVALID ASSOCIATIONS.
          2. ECONOMIC IRRATIONALISM
          3. DEBUNKING NOT LIKED IDEAS
          1. Performing a Cost-Benefit Analysis - For Dummies

            www.dummies.com/how-to/.../performing-a-costbenefit-analysis.html

Whether you know it as a cost-benefit analysis or a benefit-cost analysis, performing one is ... Potential costs of not doing the project ... your analysis, the more important itis to convert your estimates of benefits over costs into today's dollars.
          2. [PDF]

Handbook of Cost-Benefit Analysis - Department of Finance and ...

            www.finance.gov.au/publications/.../Handbook_of_CB_analysis.pdf

Cost-benefit analysis is also helpful where, without any commercial ... determining the money equivalent value of outcome is not feasible, cost-effectiveness .... more readily accessible, the cost of doing a cost-benefit analysis has fallen.
The below link will take you to the reason for this email: ZETTA NUMBERS AND GILLARD. And ABC AM on 31.5 link.
Note that the asbestos disaster – Labor disaster # 997 – has largely made the ZETA NUMBERS parody not the most important thing.
However – I do wish to point out that the sheer idiocy behind the ABC AM producers running this as a pathetic attempt to justify the NBN – is beyond intellectual contempt!
I sduppose moral contempt too – because the asbestos catastrophe was known – even if the story and it’s implications have not ‘dawned’ yet.
Look Jon – no matter how large the internet becomes – it is imbecilic to try to mount the total downloading in 2017  as an excuse for the Conroy version of the NBN!!
Oh – I forgot – Conroy has planned for 40 years  completion – even more absurd on the grounds that he will be GA GA by then – and unable to make sense – as indeed he is, essentially non compis now.
NO MATTER how large – the material re future  downloaded does not increase exponentially. and even if it did – he is astoundingly ignorant of matters material! WHY FOR HEAVEN’s [that is secular heaven] SAKE NOT ALLOW THE PROBLEM OF 4 or 40) YEARS IN FUTURE BE SOLVED – OR ALLOW TO BE SOLVED – AS INDEED WILL BE – THEN!!
THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED SOLUTIONS IN 2013 FOR SITUATIONS THAT MUST – BY THE VERY NATURE OF UNCOMMON COMMON SENSE – BE SOLVED THEN? MAN ALIVE – WHY NOT THE LEFT UNDERSTAND THIS??
Yes – this capitalization indicates the new format of shouting.
There is nothing wrong with shouting.
Who claims there is? It is only the left who so declare as a tool of vitiation!
Oh – and the exclamation marks? That too is acceptable – I am allowed these harmless instruments – in view  what the government of disrepute does daily.
Indeed there are many new things daily.
They are doing a snow – job on us! #997 is too far to count.....
Do I need to give you a rational analysis of what I just wrote: I KNOW you understand. If you insist on not understanding – then I am sad.
Thus I have the first 2 of above:
          1. INVALID ASSOCIATIONS.
          2. ECONOMIC IRRATIONALISM
I note: #3 DEBUNKING NOT LIKED IDEAS
Look Jon – the ABC creates news in attempting to debunk news they do not like – See this morning The Australian Cut And Paste.
          Thank goodness for David Karoly.

        • Karoly's regal bias - Cut and paste - 4/6/13
          see my link above
          So here I leave it.
I am working on a method whereby the sheer dunamics [not a typo] of Labor’s disasters can be seen at a glance!
Merely logging it on my blog is not the answer.
The entries will get lost in the morass of madness – it will have no meaning for our grandchildren. If they survive climate lunacy. I am not sure it is worth the effort.
Can you partner a daily entry on The Drum – so we can make a start?
Who knows where it will finish.
Perhaps my  maim blog is a clue. socialistdystopia.blogspot.com.au
There is a lot of supplementary reading there for refugees of the left.
You see Jon – I have a dream to stop Labor governments from EVER being able to do this again – no matter what iteratin any future derivations will be named.
I know the Bretharians, Thetanites and the defunct Natural Law Party have made their moves in preselections  and takeovers to come.
Stay tuned... or do a google searc of what I have written on this genuine conspiracy.
          However:
          •  In my utopian world – lies will not be allowed. Ho hum.
          •  Parties will be sued if they wilfully cause harm to the people.
          •  Parties will have to explicate in full detail – even if it is like the NBN / back of envelope job – all of why / what / how they ‘do’.
          •  The main point is accountability: parties will not be able to hide from the  circumstances they glibly create and the logical, indubitable financial implications thereof. That any government has to contemplate all this will mean that all is done in good faith – and they will not have to run the shredders when the day of denouement decimates their utopia.
          Look through my blog Jon.
It is just a matter of time before it becomes obligatory reading. I am trying to bully my family and friends to do so.
The above is being posted on my blog within seconds: In view of the precarious nature of the future of the ABC incipient privatised et al – you and management  may appreciate the opportunity of showing to the future buyer that you have become economic and political rationalists.
And if you do not – you can describe my scribbles as ‘rambling’.
Who knows – you may still have a lot of supporters. Up The Revolution!
