Kindly note that the ABC cannot be relied on for even basic commentary on the news, legal matters wherein years ago they created a sham, innocence claim promoted by the hooligans’ bushlawyer /  attractive girlfriend or medical matters!

However they SEEM to be correct in what they claim with respect to the cancer risks of uncontrolled acid reflux and  oesophageal cancer !
