I herewith wish to make my submission with respect to the Amendments to the Racial Discrimination Act.
My comments herein will not for now have sources and supplementary comments relating to some of the claims herein.
Instead the reader is invited to view my two main blogs anytime after early early next week, when when these comments and sources etc. can be seen. [Dates of entries will be May 1 – May 5]

Hereunder are my comments which should be view with my  ‘’RDA’’ entries as above blogs.

FUREDY
I have seen The Australian making heroic efforts to distort the 18c debate [henceforth ‘’RDA’’] over the past few months. This distortion is exemplified by their publication over almost 2 weeks the lamentable, extraordinary ideas of  John J. Furedy, Darling Point, NSW
There are so many strange things here. I do not know whether I will devote time to analyse the scores of insults to my parents – they too were survivors of the holocaust.
YES – I AM JEWISH!
My parents were indeed survivors of Nazi barbarism!
My opinion – AND THE VAST MAJORITY OF JEWS*** is just as viable as Furedy’s!

Just read the socialist pap of Furedy:
A boyhood scepticism of powerful agendas built an unassailable view that speech was better when it was free, even for Holocaust deniers, and led to Professor Furedy this week backing proposed revisions to the­ Racia­l Discrimination Act.
PUHLEEZ!
He was already a socialist twirp as a boy? He had this view about ‘’powerful agendas’’? Get real – this is referring to those who hunted Nazis! Sick!
3And the title of the article is absurd. As can be seen from the link – Furedy lacks original titles at best: VELVET TOTALITARIANISM is everywhere in his work:
4But leave that all for now – he is of the left – thus his freedom of speech values never encompass that there is no such thing!
It  is a responsibility – not a unilateral right couched in waffled troglodyte phrases like VELVET TOTALITARIANISM, powerful agendas; or idiocies / obscenities like this:
‘’His father and two uncles were sent to different labour camps. The uncles perished somewhere in Ukraine. His father, Bela, survived only because a German colonel’s instincts to win the war were greater than his instincts to kill Jews.
“He told my father if you work like a soldier, you’ll be fed like a soldier — and he was,” he said.
Professor Furedy said free speech wouldn’t have saved the Jewish people under Hitler — “there were so many other factors at play” — but was adamant it was the best way to defeat bigotry.
“The only protection against stupid speech is better speech,” he said.’’

5AND THIS: simply imbecilic!
‘’He said he did not believe minority groups needed special protections, even where they had to fight back with ideas against a powerful person with a stronger platform.’’
OH YES – FUREDY AGAINST THE NAZIS? THE MAN DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HIDE!

Notorious Holocaust-denier and anti-Semite Ernst Zundel was in the midst of a deportation battle with the Canadian government when Professor Furedy wrote a letter to the National Post newspaper defending his right to free speech. “I have long been disgusted by Zundel’s publicly stated, anti-Semitic opinions,” he wrote in 2005.
“Nevertheless, as one who has had first-hand experience of ... ‘fear societies’ in the form of the Nazi and Soviet tyrannies, I have, since 1987, defended, in print, Zundel’s right to publicly state his disgusting opinions because I did not want to see a Canadian shift towards the fear end of the free-fear continuum.”
The same shift, he says, could happen in Australia and Senator Brandis is right to correct it.

  • Let it be understood that Furedy is allowed to be such a creature of the left that his entire raison d’etre is the urge he has in supporting modern day nazis.
  • Let it be understood – he can be discovered by The Australian and for The Oz to publish derivations of Furedy via the letters and op Ed pieces for a very long 8 days!
  • Let it be understood that I can argue to the contrary!
  • Let it be understood that The Oz editorial denies democracy to Jews! see below! They vitiate the majority view!!
‘’Some within the Jewish diaspora disagree with the organisations’ official line. Such individuals know that majority or official opinion among any group is not necessarily always right.’’
‘’...always right. Many racial and religious groups, including Jews, have learned, that lesson at vast and painful cost through history. Free choice, including opposition to cultural coercion, was one of the 10 founding principles of Israel,HUH?????? which is also a good reason for respecting dissenting views. HUH????

MORONIC EDITORIAL Smothering free exchange of ideas a dangerous path

Nor, in Australia, has the controversial Section 18C of the RDA prevented a 21 per cent increase in the number of reports of racist violence directed at individuals or Jewish facilities in the past year. That disturbing trend is a good reason for open debate and the airing of grievances, to allow them to be dealt with by rational, sensible argument.

DERSHOWITZ
It was not enough for the Oz what they did with Furedy – they published the abysmal self – contradictory article by Alan Dershovitz.

Allen is a Garrick [who is Garrick?] Professor law of Qld Uni: he should have been ashamed of writing this tripe insult – a biased piece of
self – absorbed  rubbish! What an insult to Mr Mundine. The article is a travesty.

12But here is the ‘rub’
These two very biased articles were published NEXT TO EACH OTHER – promoting  the same side!
Almost unprecedented for The Oz to be so manifestly incapable of realizing how silly they look.
13These – and other articles are laden with mere unilateral freedom of speech espousal.
And no mention of the responsibility.
But the worst by far is this.
ALL articles seemingly claim via various insipid phrases that one must listen to the ultimate evil under the freedom / speech moniker!
  1. Oh – and so many new cliches are created – like the market place of ideas...
  2. fee exchange of ideas
  3. realm of ideas
  4. first casualty / speech...
I could list scores more.
14But the worst idea is the plain scenario that one should sit down in deferential obscenity with those who would deny the essence
of MY VERONKA!!
Whither art though, free exchange of ideas – with those who would claim that Hitler did not murder enough of us??!!
Or that the Jews bashed on the way home from synagogue should encourage ‘’airing of grievances’’? See below!!
