POLITICAL REQUIEM FOR A ROGUE: CARR

The lamentable former Foreign Minister Bob Carr has a habit of using derivations of some of the classic anti semitic tropes.
Here are a mere handful that can be found from his media forays / promotion of his outrageous self – serving autobiographical diary.

Some of my best fiends are Jewish.
  • Carr: ''I was President of Labor Friends of Israel.'' AM ABC Radio 8.05am 10/4/2014
  • Also on Neil Mitchell's radio programme – he insisted that all he has done is ''in the interest of Israel.''
  • Carr  managed to seek succour in calling Primo Levi a 'good Jew' [sort of] – for having written a book on the Holocaust that he favours. N Mitchhell 8 50 am 10/4

Patriotism and humbug.
  • Carr: ''I stood up to the Jewish lobby'' AM ABC Radio
  • ''I mean well for Israel'' ....but clearly not the extreme right wing of the Jewish lobby See ABC TV 7 30 Wednesday 9/4/14

But I must make a note on Carr's pyjamas.
It was so sad that his first – class ticket forced him to remain in his suit: ABC Radio AM 10/4 /14 8 06 am. I suppose this controlling entity will tell someone what he could have done wearing classical men's PJ's that he could not do in his suit? The mind boggles.

Pathetically he has picked up Kevin Rudd's speech patterns:
''I do not resile from''
And ''You should be able to criticise Israel without being accused of anti semitism.''

First – class food took two years off his life
ABC TV –  7 30 9/4
There will be some who contemplate his denouement!

Pathetically he has picked up Kevin Rudd's speech patterns:
''I do not resile from''
And : ''You should be able to criticise Israel without being accused of anti semitism.''
................................................................
There must be a 'lot more' if one could be bothered trowling his entrails: not pleasant to contemplate.
Pathetically the media will be full of it!

It is worth a look at the skills Mark Leibler demontrated last night on ABC Lateline 9/4 He did a better job than I would have done: I would have attacked the premise of Tony Jones' quesrions – Leibler disarmed him!
