The Church UNEXPURGATED

The original of yesterday [13/11] has been rewritten as below and resubmitted to The Australian: it has no chance of being published!

To The Australian Editor In Chief
Chris Mitchell

Dear Chris
I submit the below improved item as an pro forma article which I guess you cannot publish.
Kindly note that this cryptic summary explains it all:

  • Celibacy
  • The Confessional
Both explain a lot: no other religion hides and explicates what they have done to countless children under these dual policy obscenities!!!!

My style of writing is such because Pell refuses to respond to me: I send this to him and the Vatican as a copy - hoping he / they will sue me!

Regards
Geoff

are replete with disparate suggestions and quotes with 'concerns' about witch hunts and derivated quotes from supporters of the church and mere civil libertarians and apologists.

Nine million women were tortured and murdered by the [was this misogynistic, Julia?] Inquisitors: this being the paradoxical progenitor of our inquiry word.

Do you know how they even made romantic the murder of thousands under the aegis of the 'Crusaders' - King Arthur / Knights of the round table?

Their inquisitors forced Galileo to recant; he knew that devil - worshipers - another of the church's current beliefs - were burned at the stake. As were epileptics.

They still officially have experts in driving out / EXORCISING" the devil!

Understand that the asinine, inappropriate use of witch hunts should be eschewed: the church is now into mere denial of child abuse practice of their celibacy - attracted priesthood.

  1. Indeed - how do you statistically account for the disproportionate number of debased sexual attacks on children amongst the unmarried clergy / prelates / bishops church heirarchy and pleibians over the decades?
  2. Are statistics available?
  3. Would it matter if I made up statistics and postulated the obvious? How about taking the number of convicted paedophiles over a time span and comparing it with the number associated with the Church, Jews and Muslims for argument;s sake.
  4. Then add scoutmasters - this will surely prove that paedophiles choose their professions carefully. I appreciate that the scoutmasters tangent is not helpful: but is an honest appraisal. I can afford to be reasonable in the mention of scoutmasters: I have so much material!
  5. Contemplate that Catholics do not allow Priests to marry. Make a corrolation as to that re above: statistics needed? Surely not!
  6. And it is worse in reality: not only do they create the now obvious problem above - but it creates the massive enrichment programme for the church in that there are no wives or official children to inherit the worldly goods of these people! What a shame no one has explored how they have thousands of BILLIONS of dollars esconsed via this scam! No wonder it enriched the curia and they have perpetuated it over thousands of years.
  7. They own most of Rome. I will find the documentation somewhere!
  8. Or why not try returning the thousands of Jewish religious artifacts plundered from murdered Jews over the millenia? I guess they can afford not to sell the Jewish items the Crusaders and Romans et al plundered from murdered Jews. Millions of them: statistics anyone?
  9. They will not even deny the possession of these precious books and other KEILIM'!

How about denial of Papa Pius X sins re the Holocaust? see links below.

Or Cardinal Pell is on record as having mollified criticism of his Church’s abusers because they are regular users of the confessional – as per Bill Leak’s cartoon on 11/11. Not yet enclosed.
Thus the Church - and Pell

Abuse Royal Commission gets former bishop's backing

LEIGH SALES: What do you think of Cardinal Pell's view that the abuse stories are largely historic and that they're not part of a systemic failing in the Church?

BILL MORRIS: Well unfortunately, Leigh, I had to deal a coupla years ago with abuse cases within the Toowoomba Diocese of a teacher with regards to, say, a number of girls, say, within recent history. So, it is still happening, it is still happening and it's also happening, say, across our communities. And there are historical questions too, but sexual abuse is still happening and we need to kinda find out why and how we can address it.

LEIGH SALES: I also wanted to ask you about a comment that Archbishop Pell made on the weekend where he said regarding abusive priests that back in the days when the abuse was at its worst, they were entitled to think of paedophilia as simply a sin that you could repent of. Is that accurate? Was there a time where priests thought that they were entitled to think of it as just a sin like any other?
BILL MORRIS: Um, I think probably there was, historically. I think as a community of people, I think as a community we didn't really know how to deal with it and I think probably because we didn't know how to deal with it, we swept it under the carpet and didn't, say, do what we should've done and address it at the time.

LEIGH SALES: Does the Church even today have a priority in the way that it handles these cases to protect the Church's reputation foremost?

BILL MORRIS: Well it does. Over recent years, I mentioned the program Towards Healing. And we developed that, say, way back in the mid-'90s and over that period of time we've used Towards Healing. Sometimes it's not the perfect program and it's not a perfect process, but when it is used, it does, say, bring healing into victims' lives and it does address, say, these difficult problems. But oftentimes it's not used correctly, and if it's not used correctly, well then the answers and the way victims are dealt with isn't done right.

LEIGH SALES: Bishop William Morris, thank you so much for making time to speak to us.

BILL MORRIS: Leigh, it's my privilege and thank you very much.

LEIGH SALES: And Australia's most senior Catholic, Cardinal George Pell, has just put out a statement in which he says, "I welcome the Prime Minister's announcement. I believe the air should be cleared and the truth uncovered. We shall cooperate fully with the Royal commission." We've also invited Cardinal Pell onto the program. He's declined so far, but we'll keep trying.
