ODE TO THE NEW YEAR: THE LABOR TOP DOZEN -

The usually Laboured top - ten list of the much - copied puerile David Letterman 'Top Ten list does not apply to Labor!j
  1. I have tried to fit their awe - inspiring incompetence into a baker's dozen - concentrating on  Julia's kindergarten's refusal to defend themselves.The Australian has merely in the last few days listed scores of behaviours unfitting of a democracy It is expected that I will heroically fail; after all - without even the frequent, multiple repetitions of calamities, the tidal wave of intended and unintended and inevitable consequences - I counted over 200 discrete devastations visited upon ''Labor Values'' this year alone.
  2. It was not like this in Hawke - Keating days- even if there are some similarities.
  3. That this exists has remained so justified arguably deserves to be regarded as the classical monument to the left's incompetence everywhere. I have finally decided to minimize my exclamation marks! [oops!] 
  4. Forgive me - there was no reason for me to seemingly mislead / cheat via an introduction that takes in 3 didactisms. Nor do I need to create new words or claim new misandrisms  I do not need to exaggerate: I have been trying to exaggerate Labor luddites' cataclysmic plague without success for years. Their disasters are in the realm of commission, omission and verbiage; better known as 'spin.' and  waffle.  Repeated ad nausium, ad infinitum and ad continuum. 
  5. Just look at Peter Van Onselen's amazing article on Wayne Swan, and Judith Sloan's item - highlighted below. Never mind the other humiliations resident in merely recent /  today's links: for heaven's sakes - only one day. 
  6. If this government survives to the next budget - what sort of relationship will be extant in the budget lock - up  between Sloan, PVO and Swanee?
  7. PATHETICALLY, THERE HAS BEEN - AND WILL BE NO RESPONSE FROM WAYNE SWAN! NO CONTEST, NOLO CONTENDERE. THEY HAVE ONLY CRAIG EMMERSON'S ASININE KILLER TOMATO MATERIAL IN THE REGULAR GIG GIVEN HIM GENEROUSLY BY THE AUSTRALIAN. So the daily cavalcade of chaos continues with disasters perpetuate [poetic licence - but I chide myself - there is no need to resort to any licence!
  8. Indeed - Emmerson does not make the grade even as fodder for killer - tomato material. To be so rated he has to  has to first  attain  cult - status. I was thinking to helping him by miss - spelling as KILLER TOMATOE - and thus elicit the first defacto Dan Quayle defense of Swan / Emmerson and the cultural cadres of the collective class - straddlers. Oh dear - here is another error - come on you people - attack me!@$@#$@#132

Never in history has an australian government allowed the public service to humiliate themselves: Treasury, Defence, Education et al.IT WAS NOT LIKE THIS WITH HAWKE / KEATING: GILLATD IS PROSTITUTING THE PUBLIC SERVICE TOO: HONOURABLE PEOPLE BEING FORCED TO ACT DISHONOURABLY! [oops - another exclamation mark!]

  12. Labor has for years taken a new tack; the list of their kindergarten asinities so accumulates that there is no holding them to account. The socially - inclusive twirps [contemplate why Abbott will never have such an idiotic feel - good meaningless portfolio: conservatives are different!]
  13. Historians will never be able to list them all - that too is a manifest tactic. The political obituary can never explicate their daily disasters. Superficially this may appear silly - but think it through - it will work! And can you imagine Tony Abbott bothering to record a lost government's multifarious disasters?
  14. Indeed TA will be too busy dismantling merely their major disasters: Climate lunacies with 17 departments, selling off the true believers of the ABC, minimizing NBN mega waste, demolishing Orweillian media madness - and much more. 
  15. So who will be interested in lists? I remain interested. If this madness of the left masquerading as a government can come to pass once - then  merely a comprehensive list will enable those who sadly, pathetically and  sadly remain besotted with them to contemplate learn from the Gillard / Rudd tragedies.  Thetroglodytes of the proletrariat will remain at best in the wilderness for the foreseeable future.

Probably misandrist or philogynist...
Depending on what you mean by "opposite", one of these words may be what you're looking for:  "misandrist", "philogynist", or possibly even "misanthropist".

Definitions:

Ode to the silly - season: cricket et al



I write  an  article herein about the vagaries of cricket and other sports. TO BE CONTINUED: this is written without apprprite editing,

Kindly note that the Australian Football League has under it's socialist AFL football operations manager ANDREW DEMETRIOU made a parody of itself when even the leftist newspaper The SMH recognizes AFL and socialism in disparate realms!

I further add that if my comments about the inevitable injuries to fast bowlers were heeded, then this 'resting' of trained athletes would not be necessary! [see links here]

Furthermore if appropriate sharing of bowling duties was encouraged by authorities who should have pointed out to them that the arcane game of cricket is essentially unique in retaining  for 160 years the strange idea that all the skills are not needed by all the players!
Surely this is unique in international sports!

To wit - that batsmen do not have to bat and vice - versa.

I recall with wry humour Shane Warne's classical put down:

POOR ALL ROUNDERS!! Seemingly they are not expected to excell in all their endeavours!

Furthermore, it is simply a pathetic insult when the flannelled people cannot find say, soccer players who do not have to head the ball, or dribble the ball. Soccer has a number of problems - the sheer idiocy of the offside rule [Hockey years ago vitiated this idiocy] and the brain /  head damage of heading a wet, heavy ball: but at least the brain injuries explain why no - one has had an original thought and done away with former!

Soccer has an additional problem: no one can understand how imbecilic the offside rule is!
I will one day write an analytical article devoted to the mathematically informed, erudite  - someone may understand. Sigh!

But I digress now -  all sports have idiosyncrasies. Tennis and the wet - bulb measurement of debilitating heat barely compares with having a 'let' point - with all the adjudication problems. 

Tennis officials have so much money on their hands that they have to spend millions on an error - prone  Hawk - Eye system when a simple video camera would be devoid of problems.
Who has not seen distortions in the mega - expensive computer - based Hawk - Eye?

Aussie Rules with deliberate out of bounds should use psychiatrists: with appeals to a board of 'shrinks': NO , umpire - I did not mean it - I did not mean to put  it out of bounds - deliberately!
I will swear a Statutory Declaration to the Chief Leftist / post modernist Demitreou - and appeal it to his bunch of his socialist board - just do not rule it deliberately out of bounds.
I promise and so declare.

 If the AFL had enough non - socialist nous to copy soccer - then the viewers would not have to put up with constant ball -ups and throw - ins. [do not get me started about AFL deliberately forcing the umpire to learn useless error - prone  skill of ball - up!
Oz rules has a socialist policy with rules on the draft: compare with the sarcastic 'failures' of World Soccer - say the Premier League. Those millions do pervert, non comrade D?

Cricket: The front - foot rule
Mathematically, the idea of trying to glean say, 0.00000001% advantage by going for a centimetre or two advantage is an insult to the intelligence of those who understand numbers.
The essential disaster of giving away a run and a free hit  to the batsman is way out if the risk - reward ratio.
Coaches - who may be able to bat, bowl and perchance did elemental maths - and kept away from heading a soccer ball on a wet days -  should have told their bowlers that they should make sure that they are at least 10 - 30 centimetres behind the safety zone.

It is understood that the reason these flanneled fools try to encroach is to give the batsman 0.00001 sec less time to sight the ball: it is time that coaches told players that this is the futility of futilities! Inequitable!

Kerry O'Keefe - ABC radio on Wednesday 26/ 12/2012 [at 10. 10 am] rambled on about the front foot rule.
But no!
He did not say anything sensible!
No this sniggering entity mentioned an absurd idea that the front foot rule causes injuries!
So - no - one can glean any semblance of wisdom from KO - who must have headed the cricket ball in his spinning days!
This vainglorious asinity was stunning - in that his  co - commentators were obviously carrying injuries from their sporting days! No comments from them!

Ultimately - it is the stupidity of bowlers that fascinates me!
We all know that the All mighty has rarely granted disparate / multi talent /  insight /  and intellectual skills to sports people. 
But there must be someone who understands these notes that will be continued during what is known as 'the silly season?


I have seen too many asinine  articles on sports, written by intellectuals and sportsmen.

 I am certainly neither.

 It is hoped this quickly - written scribble finds favour with at least  those who have been disproportionally blessed.

Starc missed

SINCE when was Test cricket a round-robin selection affair? The Australian selectors have made a fundamental mistake in leaving out Mitchell Starc.
At every level of serious cricket, teams are picked on form and the best side is chosen. No one gets dropped just to have a rest.
And this, after all, is Test cricket. It takes years to get there and your selection is safe when you do all that is asked of you in the previous games. Even when you have a lean trot, you are retained for a time once you have made the grade.
The selectors have been unfair to Test cricket, Mitchell Starc and the fans who pay and love to watch the best in the world.
Will the selectors have the guts to reverse this ill-judged decision and return to picking sides based on commitment to playing for Australia?

They understand not the foolishness of their useless, mega - wasteful, eternally feel - good / motherhood - based policies which they glibly create by the score.

Then the intellectually excluded feel no need to explain - nor later to recant when they get caught out!
But they know how to complain: surely Gillard et al never heard of Disraeli's quote!


And they are regularly so humiliated that historians will struggle to list the daily cavalcade of disasters which surely will significantly diminish us all.

What a job for Tony Abbott. Hopefully soon as I hear a leading MP is ready to do a Mal Colston!

Your brilliant editorial Minister in search of a portfolio may be criticized by 'courageous' lefties for quoting the Monty Python Silly Walks / goose step! Big mistake.
And your article Breaking cycle a 'five - year task' could be criticised for daring to demonstrate that the writer Lania Vasek has a brain. As distinct from the Collective's aphasiatic torpor regularly demonstrated by what they say and fail to say; what they do and fail to do; what they pathetically understand: the need to do anything to stay in power.
But the luvvies of this government will leave you current Cut and Paste alone. They never respond to defacto parodies that are replete with too many facts / quotes.
That too is typical of the left - lacking humour, perspective and nous and even basic undertanding. That is obvious: but they are devoid of original ideas too - and the electorate is going after them with 'didactic' cricket bats.
Sigh - where there is no sense - there is no feeling: make that big, intellectual cricket bats!
And even worse – Labor – they do not parry criticism – if that is what you want to dimunitively call it – with rational argument.
