I am sure B Ramjan does not even have a political kitchen
Re The Heald Sun 4/12/12: Ex The Australian same day by Natasha Robinson [The Oz took it off line]
I offer this legal opinion to Barbara Ramjan: wear the ''nutter and nobody'' moniker with pride.
- You are now at least a 'somebody' thanks to manifestly political comments you willingly promoted knowing that it would be used politically by a biased political player in David Marr. [Marr's bias is irrelevant.]
- Outrageously, pathetically - but plainly with political intent.
There is no merit in exploring the significant
demerits of this case, or exploring the background of this political
farce.
However even if one concedes that the 'nutter' term is
not one of endearment, Ramjan will be seen as having exposed herself to this
reasonable, rascible, feisty and choleric reposte.
This is politics.
You played politics.
You played politics.
Beware thin - skinned ones who should not venture into
the cauldronous kitchen of politics.
Oh dear - did I just make a mysogynist comment?
OOPS!
Please!
I did not mean it!
I am sure Barbara does not even have a kitchen - indeed her socialist mansion has a perfecly adequate restaurant nearby - and she does not even need a kitchen!
Just like Julia.
Is the above misogynist? Am I going to be sued for the arcane sin of hating women?
Will my wife talk to me ever again?
What about the Maquarie - am I going to get an entry?

Please understand my wonderful wife uses the second line for her manifold, eclectic discussion of recipes - all to make me loose my 'nutter' interest in politics!

EX THE HERALD SUN
A SYDNEY woman who accused Tony Abbott of intimidating her by punching a wall on either side of her head following a university election in 1977 has "a reputation for honesty and integrity", according to papers filed in a civil defamation suit.
Barbara Ramjan is suing Liberal powerbroker Michael Kroger and Nationwide News, publisher of The Australian, for damages. Ms Ramjan's defamation actions were briefly mentioned yesterday in the NSW Supreme Court.
In her civil claim against Mr Kroger, Ms Ramjan has also complained the Liberal powerbroker, in an interview with broadcaster Alan Jones on September 25, conveyed the imputations that she was a "nutter" and a "nobody".
Ms Ramjan is the woman who, in a Quarterly Essay by journalist David Marr, said Mr Abbott had punched a wall on either side of her head after she beat him in an election for SRC president.
In a statement of claim detailing her defamation case against Nationwide News filed in the NSW Supreme Court, Ms Ramjan's lawyers claim The Australian's article conveyed imputations that she was a serial manufacturer of false complaints against her political opponents and that she had fabricated an allegation that Tony Abbott had physically intimidated her in 1977.
Ms Ramjan is suing for aggravated damages and costs.
The matter will return tomorrow.
